ORS 654.010: Employer did not furnish a safe place of employment.
(a) Referring to the NEC 336-6 regulations, a non-shielded "romex" type,
jacketed, non-
metallic, sheathed cable used to power the water heater located in an area
behind the kitchen.
Shielding was required to protect it from abrasion or damage which could
expose live wires
to employees causing injury.
THIS VIOLATION WAS COMPLIED WITH AT THE TIME OF INSPECTION.d
