Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: a)Slight pain in visual performance due to low illumination that not provide efficient and confortable seeing in the sampling area and secretary desk. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is: 1.Provide more illumination with more ceiling and/or wall lamps. 2.Relocate lamps over the space were procedures of reading and writting are carry out. 3.Provide more efficient lights bulbs on the lamps. a)Molestias en el rendimiento visual debido a la pobre iluminacion que no provee para una visualizacion eficiente y confortable en el area de muestras y en el escritorio de la secretaria. Entre otros metodos, un metodo razonable y aceptable de corregir este riesgo es: 1.Proveer mas iluminacion con mas lamparas de techo y/o pared. 2.Relocalizar lamparas sobre los espacios donde se lleva a cabo tareas de lectura y escritura 3.Proveer bombillas mas eficientes en las lamparas."
