Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious harm to employees in that: Maple Park jobsite/approximately 15 feet above grade. An employee, working from a scissor lift was exposed to fall hazards by the chain midrail not being connected. A feasible means of abatement would be to provide fall protection in accordance with the American National Standards Institute, ANSI A92.6-1979 Standard for Self-Propelled Elevating Work Platforms. CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION
