North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to falls in excess of 24' [Reference ANSI/SIA A92.6-1990, Section 8.10.1]: a)2790 Hwy. 55-employees climbed over the guardrail system to access the upper landing surface. A feasible means of abatement is to use a ladder of appropriate size to reach the roof.
