4/25/05, the employer did not develop a written demolition program that
addressed the
hazards of dismantling rail cars.  The employer did not ensure that
cribbing or other tie
backs were in place to prevent rail car parts from falling on employees.
Among other means, acceptable means of abatement include providing
employees with
longer torches, provide cribbing materials and/or provide a method to tie
the cars back
to prevent unintended collapse.
