in that employees were operating a cord connected portable pipe threading machine that was not equipped with a mandatory, momentary contact device as required by the American National Standards Institute ANSI B208.1, Section 4.4. One feasible and acceptable method of abatement is to install a constant pressure foot switch so that if the employee is caught in the rotating parts of the machine, the machine can be stopped by removing ones foot from the switch.
