recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious
physical harm to
employees in that employees were exposed to impalement hazards from
vertical protruding
electrical conduit that projects above the floor:
(a) On or about July 19, 2006 - The 1/2 conduit sticking up out of the
concrete floor in
the center of the showroom floor was not protected or covered.
(b)  On or about July 19, 2006 - The 1/2 conduit sticking up out of the
concrete floor
on the east side of the area where the employees were assembling the metal
trusses was
not protected or covered.
(c)  On or about July 19, 2006 - The 1/2 conduit sticking up out of the
concrete floor on
the west side of the table where the field manufactured trusses were being
assembled
was
not protected or covered.
(d)  On or about July 19, 2006 - The 1/2 conduit sticking up out of the
concrete floor
in the center of the main entrance, north side of the building was not
protected or covered.
One suitable and acceptable means of abatement for this hazard is to cover
the conduit
with regular rebar caps.
