North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The operator did not furnish to each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that workers living in a temporary migrant labor camp were exposed to electrical hazards. a) Operator failed to provide a temporary labor camp which was free from electrical hazards in that the following electrical hazards were present at 6411 Dave Bright Rd., Faison,NC 28341. 1) The path to ground was not permanent and continious to a kitchen refrigerator. 2) Temporary wiring was being used in lieu of permanent wiring throughout the dwelling. 3) Three ceiling light fixtures had exposed electrical wiring and wiring was held together with electrical tape.
