(a)Sewer pipe project for Crown Hill Subdivision, at east end of Grady
Drive off
S. Swan Road, Gulfport, MS - On or about March 17, 2009 an employee was
lowered
in the bucket of a Kobelco SK-210LC track-hoe, by the owner, in order for
employee
to remove a stick and end cap from the previously laid sewer pipe.
Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to
correct this
hazard is to prohibit employees from riding in the bucket of
trackhoe/excavator, and to
use ladders or other safe means of egress.
