1910.27(c)(6): The distance from the nearest edge of ladder to the nearest edge of equipment or structure was more than 12 inches: (a)KMart RDC 8290 at 18875 Bromley Lane, Brighton, CO 80601: The step- across distance from the nearest edge of ladders to the nearest edge of structures was more than 12 inches in that employees working in the warehouse facility step over conveyor systems using permanently installed ladder cross over steps provided by the employer. The condition exposed the employees to a trip and fall hazard as they use these ladder steps to cross over conveyors. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation is required for this item (See enclosed "Sample Abatement-Certification Letter").
