North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of North Carolina: The employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment and a place of employment free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to electrical hazards from ungrounded outlet: a) Operator failed to provide migrant farm workers with a temporary labor camp site that was free from electrical hazards: 1) Electric fence plugged into outside ungrounded outlet with a temporary flexible drop cord, next to a water source. Among others, one feasible and acceptable method of abating the violation is to remove electric fence, temporary flexible drop cord and replace outlet, that meets local building codes, the National Electric Code and any other applicable standards and or codes.rds
