on damaged racks:
New Warehouse, Aisle C/D:
On October 29, 2010, the bottom bracing of the steel storage rack system
used to store
pallets of food products, was damaged and not secured.
Among other methods, one feasible abatement method to correct this hazard
is to:
a) Provide column protectors and/or steel clad impact panels to reduce
damage
from forklift impact;
b) Ensure that damaged racks are replaced or repaired according to
manufacturer's recommendations;
c)  Establish regular inspections of rack systems to identify damaged
racks;
d)  Follow safety practices outlined in the American National Safety
Institute
(ANSI) MH-16.2-1984 standard (or later version) for "Use of Industrial and
Commercial Steel Storage Racks".
THE CHEX FINER FOODS INCORPORATED WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A
VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR
