North Carolina General Statute 95-129(1) of the Occupational Safety and
Health Act of North Carolina:  The
employer did not furnish to each of his employees  conditions of
employment and a place of employment free
from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or
serious physical harm to employees, in
that employees were exposed to the potential for bladder and kidney
infections and transmission of infectious
diseases including cholera and hepatitis.
a) Tobacco barning operation located at 629 Jackson King Road in Angier,
NC 27501-  for the eight employees
working in the barning area there was no toilet or handwashing facility.
Abatement Notice: One feasible and acceptable means of abatement is to
provide a toilet and handwashing
facility for employees while working in the barning area.ng
