or about September
15, 2010 in the Service Bay area at 800 Royal Lane, Coppell, Texas; where
the employer
did not ensure that its garage mechanic was following all of the compnay
safety and health
precautions while performing maintenace underneath vehicles.
Among other feasible methods to correct the identified hazard, one method
would be to
ensure that the mechanic is trained in the required safety precautions
including
but not
limited to engaging the parking brake and using wheel chalks.
Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the
abatement date, the
employer must submit documentation describing the actions it is taking to
establish,
communicate, and implement written procedures to ensure that all places of
employment are
free from struck-by and/or crushed-by hazards.by
