Labor and Employment Article, Section 5-104(a): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a)Ddate of Violation:1280 Location:Front of Building Equipment:JCB Rough Terrain Forklift,Model#508C, Serial #SPL508CCWE0585677 Condition:A forklift was not equipped with a seatbelt. Among other methoods, one feasible and acceptable methoods to correct this hazards, install and utilize a restrait system in accordance with the current version of American National Standards Institue (ANSI) B56.1, "Safety Standard for Powered Industrial Trucks," and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) 56.1- 2000," Safety Standard for Low Lift and High Lift Trucks." Abatement documentation (photographs, receipts, copies of programs, training certification, etc) is required for this item.
