Section 6.1.1 Preventive Maintenance Procedure: The owner or employer
shall establish
a periodic preventive maintenance procedure in accordance with the
recommendations
of the lift manufacturer in order to ensure reliability and allow
continued safe operation
of the lift.
Section 6.1.4 Preventive Maintenance Documentation: A thorough record of
each
preventive maintenance procedure performed shall be prepared and
maintained by the
owner or employer noting the specific checks made, the parts replaced, the
adjustments
made, the results of any measurements taken and the recommendations made.
Section 6.1.5 Preventive Maintenance Frequency: Preventive maintenance
shall follow
the recommendations of the lift manufacturer as to frequency whether they
be daily,
weekly, monthly, semi-annually, annually or on some other basis.
ONE FEASIBLE MEANS OF ABATEMENT WOULD BE TO FOLLOW THE
REQUIREMENTS AS STATED IN THE INSTRUCTIONS,
QUALIFICATIONS,RESPONSIBILITIES, REPORTING, TRAINING, AND MAINTENANCE
PROCEDURES IN ANSI/ALI ALOIM-2000.
