North Carolina General Statute 95-129(01) of the Occupational Safety and
Health Act of North Carolina:  The
employer did not furnish each of his employees conditions of employment
free from recognized hazards that
were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in
that employees were exposed to fire and
explosion hazard:
a)concession stand - On or about December 23, 2012, a gas fryer being used
for cooking was not
restrained to prevent it from accidental movement and the splashing of
grease or oil from the fryer.
ABATEMENT NOTE:
Restrain the fryer to prevent movement or tipping per manufacturer warning.
