29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level shall be protected from falling to that lower level. (a) Biggs Contracting Services, Inc. @ 779 Sulphur Creek Rd., Meeker, CO 81641: On and before April 5th, 2011, the employer did not ensure employees engaged in connecting wall girts to purlins from mobile scaffoldingframe scaffolding were protected from falls from an elevation in excess of 10 feet. Employees were using scissors lift to gain access to work areas while standing on the midrail of the scissors lift. The condition exposed employees to falls of approximately 10 feet.
