29 CFR 1926.251(e)(8)(iii): Synthetic web slings with snags, punctures, tears or cuts were not immediately removed from service: a) On or about April 13, 2011, ERIX Crane & Rigging, Inc., a crane company, allowed employees of National Single Ply, Inc., a roof repair company, to use a synthetic sling to transfer materials with a crane to the roof of a building where the synthetic sling was cut about an inch.
