29 CFR 1910.213(h)(1):  The sides of the lower exposed portion of the radial saw blade was not guarded to the full diameter of the blade by a device that would automatically adjust itself to the thickness of the stock and remain in contact with stock being cut to give maximum protection possible for the operation being performed:    At the Morgan Chop Saw, MN 5K254 BL 205, the bottom portion of the 20 inch blade was unguarded.  The condition exposed employees to amputation hazards.    Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).

29 CFR 19219(e)(3)(i):  Vertical or inclined belt(s) were not enclosed by guard(s) conforming to the requirements specified at 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o):    a)At the Morgan Chop Saw, MN 5K254 BL205, the 3/4 inch notched drive belt guard 42L x 8W (inches) was open on the back side, exposing employees to nip points.    b)At the Precision Husky Shredder, SN C 2624, the 6W x 52L (inches) drive belt was unguarded, exposing employees to nip points.    Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
