Employees walking on channel I-beams, diagonal I-beams, and around rusted and damaged decking sections while replacing old metal decking with new metal decking, did not have personal flotation devices. WRITTEN ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.

Employee not wearing fall proection when exposed to falls up to 150-feet while laying out decking. b) On or about March 27, 2012- Job site at Throgs Neck bridge in the areas from panel point 27 - main span. Employees not tied off when installing softeners in panel points. c) On or about March 26, 2012- Job site at Throgs Neck bridge in the areas from panel point 26 tower south side. Employees climbing diagonals without fall protection. d) On or about March 14, 2012- Job site at Throgs Neck bridge in the areas from panel point 82 to panel point 90. Employees without fall protection exposed while spreding out new decking. WRITTEN ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
