Worksite, West - Employees were observed working under areas where objects such as, but not limited to, hand tools, containers of fasteners and other supplies could potentially fall on, or about, 4/3/12.        Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.

1926.501(b)(13) Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.    Worksite, West - Employees engaged in roof construction of newly build residential home were observed working on the roof approximately 20 feet above the ground. Personal fall arrest systems, guardrails or safety nets were not provided on, or about, 4/3/12.        Note: In addition to abatement certification, the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
