29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):     The employer did not develop an accident prevention program, that provided for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment, to be made by competent persons designated by the employer.    a)  675 Ocean Ave., Long Branch:  The employer did not initiate a program for this site that promoted frequent and regular inspections of the jobsite, and also did not initiate a program for regular and frequent inspection by a competent person.  As such employees were exposed to fall hazards of greater than 50 feet, from the sixth floor balconies to the ground as they were painting and renovating the structure.  Observed on or about 04/13/2012    NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
