On the west emergency exit door, a turn lock on the emergency exit door prevents the ready exit from the facility in case of a fire or other emergency.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):     One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by rotating parts:      In the Machine Shop area,    a)	 on the Springfield 16 inch lathe, employees were exposed to being caught in or struck by the lathe chuck that was not guarded by a guard or shield.  The lathes chuck has protruding metal jaws for clamping materials.    b)	on the GH-1880ZX lathe, employees were exposed to being caught in or struck by the lathe chuck that was not guarded by a guard or shield.
