29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):  Employee(s) were on a walking/working surface (horizontal and vertical surface) with an unprotected side or edge which is 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level were not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    (a) First floor bathroom, 431 South Ann Street Lancaster, PA - An employee of Jar R. Reynolds, was performing work activity next to an open sided floor without the benefit of a fall protection system, thereby exposing the employee to a possible fall hazard to the basement of 11 feet 8 inches, on or about June 12, 2012.     Perrotto Builders LTD, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 112897145, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on August 1, 2008, with respect to a workplace located at Governor Mifflin School, Reading, PA 19607.    Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
