Sound points of anchorage include structural members, but do not include standpipes, vents, other piping systems, or electrical conduit: a) Cornice hooks supporting a two point suspension scaffold were not tied back at right angles or opposing angles to the face of the building. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
