29 CFR 1926.50(g): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:    At the front entrance gate to the pool, on or about June 14, 2012, and at times prior thereto, an eye wash for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes was not provided at the work area. An employee was applying Devguard 4308, Alkyd Industrial Gloss Enamel Paint onto metal surfaces without the use of eye protection. Per the MSDS, flush immediately with large amounts of water, especially under lids for at least 15 minutes. If irritation or other effects persist, obtain medical treatment.

29 CFR 1926.95(a): Protective equipment, including personal protective equipment for eyes, face, head, and extremities, protective clothing, respiratory devices, and protective shields and barriers, was not provided, used, and maintained in a sanitary and reliable condition wherever it was necessary by reason of hazards of processes or environment, chemical hazards, radiological hazards, or mechanical irritants encountered in a manner capable of causing injury or impairment in the function of any part of the body through absorption, inhalation or physical contact:    At the front entrance gate to the pool, on or about June 14, 2012, and at times prior thereto, eye protection was not worn while applying Devguard 4308, Alkyd Industrial Gloss Enamel Paint onto metal surfaces.
