29 CFR 1910.107(c)(6):  Electrical wiring and equipment not subject to deposits of combustible residues but located in a spraying area as herein defined were not explosion-proof type approved for Class I, group D locations and did not otherwise conform to the provisions of subpart S of this part, for Class I, Division 1, Hazardous Locations:    a)  On 06/28/2012, fluorescent light fixtures, electrical conduit, and an electric motor attached to a belt and pulley which operated a ventilation fan in the spray booth, were not explosion-proof types approved for Class I, group D locations and were located within approximately 14 feet to 17 feet from where spray operations occurred. 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1):  A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use:    On 06/28/2012, the employer had not developed or implemented a written respiratory protection program for employees required to wear:    a)  Airline supplied blasting helmets while conducting abrasive blasting operations in the blast booth;    b)  Half-face respirators with organic filter cartridge while conducting spray painting operations in the blast booth.    All provisions of 29 CFR 1910.95(c) through (m) must be covered in a respiratory protection program. Note:  If only a high-temperature alarm is used, the air supply should be monitored to prevent carbon monoxide in the breathing air to exceed 10 ppm.
