29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b).  Note:  If using these systems was infeasible or created a greater hazard, the employer should develop and implement a fall protection plan meeting the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502.    a) Roof ridge: On or about June 14, 2012, and at times prior thereto, an employee, while installing a ridge cap on a twin unit mobile home under assembly,  was exposed to a fall hazard of 11.5 feet, eave to ground, without fall protection.     Note: Abatement certification is NOT required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): A ladder was used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed:    a) Mobile home entrance way, north side: On or about June 14, 2012, and at times prior thereto, an employee, going in and out of a mobile home that he was preparing for transport, used a self-supporting ladder, (stepladder) as a single ladder to reach a door threshold 45 inches from the ground below.    Note) Abatement certification IS required for this item.
