Construction areas, ramps, runways, corridors, offices, shops, and storage areas shall be lighted to not less than the minimum illumination intensities listed in Table D-3 while any work is in progress: a) On or about 7/17/2012, All levels of Stairwell #8: No lights were on in the marked exit stairway and work access way. b) On or about 7/17/2012, Second floor hallway behind the Eddie Bauer Store: No lights were on in the marked exit way. Abatement certification is required for this item.

29 CFR 1926.404(b)(1)(ii): Ground-fault circuit interrupters. All 120-volt, single-phase 15- and 20-ampere receptacle outlets on construction sites, which are not a part of the permanent wiring of the building or structure and which are in use by employees, shall have approved ground-fault circuit interrupters for personnel protection. Receptacles on a two-wire, single-phase portable or vehicle-mounted generator rated not more than 5kW, where the circuit conductors of the generator are insulated from the generator frame and all other grounded surfaces, need not be protected with ground-fault circuit interrupters. a) On or about 7/17/2012, First Floor Tree Production Area: Electrical tools were energized through extension cords, no GFCIs or assured equipment grounding program were in use. Abatement certification is required for this item.
