29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph (b): a) At 3570 Rigby Dr West Mobile, Alabama: On or about August 2, 2012 and at times prior; the employer exposed his employees to fall hazards of 8.4 feet while installing sheathing on a high pitch roof with no fall protection in place.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: a) At 3570 Rigby Dr West Mobile, Alabama: On or about August 2, 2012 and at times prior; the employer failed to ensure his employees were trained on fall hazards to include but not limited to the nature of fall hazards in the work area, the use and operation of guardrails, personal fall arrest systems, and safety nets, and the correct procedures for erecting, maintaining and inspecting fall protection systems.
