29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):   Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.    On or about July 11, 2012, the employer did not ensure an employee installing a gable from the third level of building number 1 with unprotected sides and edges was using fall protection, exposing the employee to a fall of more than 6 feet to the ground below.
