The employee was measured for 339 minutes with a zero dose assumed for any un-sampled period.    NOTE: Triple D Marble Granite, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CRF 1910.1000(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315358994, citation number 1, item number 4(a) and was affirmed as a final order on 4/19/2012.

29 CFR 1910.1000(e): Feasible administrative or engineering controls were not determined and implemented to achieve compliance with the limits prescribed in 29 CFR 1910.1000(a) through (d):    As determined on or about 8/31/2012, the employer had not implemented effective engineering or administrative controls for the countertop fabricators who were exposed to silica in excess of the permissible exposure limits (PEL). The 8-hour Time Weighted Average (TWA) exposures to Crystalline Silica for two employees were 0.71 mg/cubic meter and 1.2 mg/cubic meter. Respectively, the permissible exposure limits for the two employees are, 0.585 mg/cubic meter and 0.5 mg/cubic meter.    NOTE: Triple D Marble Granite, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CRF 1910.1000(e), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315358994, citation number 4, item number 4(b) and was affirmed as a final order on 4/19/2012.
