OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to a fire, explosion, and inhalation hazards: a)On or about October 10, 2012, employees working in and around the production of "spray interface" aerosol cans are exposed to hazards which include, but are not limited to: a)ventilation was not being used, b)gas detection system was not installed, and d)sprinkler system was not installed. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable method to correct this hazard would be to refer to and use the information provided and referenced in NFPA 30B "Code for the Manufacture and Storage of Aerosol Products", 2011 Edition.
