29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):  Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.    (a)  Environmental Demolition, Inc., 6198 Franklin Street, Denver, CO 80216:  On and before August 30, 2012, the employer did not ensure each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, a safety net system, or personal fall arrest system in that an employee was working on the pin-house of boiler unit #2 without the use of a fall protection system. The employee was removing asbestos containing material while working on the roof 10 stories from the ground and fell onto a scaffold below.  This condition exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 106 feet to the ground below.
