29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): Examination. The employer shall ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. Safety of equipment shall be determined on the basis of the following considerations: (a). Worksite located at 1206 N. Belt Highway, St. Joseph, Missouri- Employees were exposed to a shock or electrocution hazard in that the cord being used to power a junction box had serveral places were the outer insulation had been breached.

29 CFR 1926.404(b)(1)(iii)(D)(2): Each receptacle and attachment cap or plug shall be tested for correct attachment of the equipment grounding conductor. The equipment grounding conductor shall be connected to its proper terminal. (a). Worksite locateda at 1206 N. Belt Highway, St. Joseph, Missouri- Employees were exposed to a shock or electrocution hazard in that the outlet being used to power equipment had not been tested to siee if it was properly grounded. The junction box was also not of an insulative material and an electrical charge could be felt on the exterior of the box.
