On or about 9/26/2012 employees working on the Hilton Garden Inn construction project were exposed to electrical hazards. Employees temporary lighting had missing protective cages.

29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): No employer shall permit an employee to work in such proximity to any part of an electric power circuit that the employee could contact the electric power circuit in the course of work, unless the employee is protected against electric shock by deenergizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it effectively by insulation or other means. On or about 9/26/2012 employees working on the Hilton Garden Inn construction project were exposed to electrical hazards. Employees temporary lighting had energized unprotected parts.

29 CFR 1926.252(a): Whenever materials are dropped more than 20 feet to any point lying outside the exterior walls of the building, an enclosed chute of wood, or equivalent material, shall be used. For the purpose of this paragraph, an enclosed chute is a slide, closed in on all sides, through which material is moved from a high place to a lower one. On or about 9/26/2012 employees working on the Hilton Garden Inn were not provided a debris chute.
