29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(iii)(A)(2)(i): During use, containers for contaminated sharps were not easily accessible to personnel or located as close as was feasible to the immediate area where sharps were used or could be reasonably anticipated to be found: Resident Rooms: CNAs using disposable razors to shave residents in their rooms were exposed to an increased potential for a contaminated sharps injury while walking to the shower room or the dirty utility room to the nearest sharps container.

29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(1)(v): The employer, who is required to establish an Exposure Control Plan, did not solicit input from non-managerial employees responsible for direct patient care who are potentially exposed to injuries from contaminated sharps in the identification, evaluation and selection of effective engineering and work practice controls and did not document the solicitation in the Exposure Control plan: LPNs administering medication were not asked for their input in the identification, evaluation, and selection of sharps with engineered sharps injury protection.
