29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1):   The employer did not adequately assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment:    (a)  Drop Mills:   A hazards assessment was not adequately completed to determine the need for personal protective equipment such as but not limited to gloves to protect against laceration hazards while using knives to cut rubber coming off drop mill.    Abatement Note:  Engineering and/or work practice control should also be considered to remove or reduce laceration hazard from this work process.
