29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:    On or about January 17, 2013, during construction activities including but not limited to roofing work, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from eye hazards by ensuring eye protection was available and worn during nailing, cutting and framing activities.     JOE WEIDMAN ROOFING WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 29 CFR 1926.102 (A)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 490978, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 001, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON AUGUST 9. 2012, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 13685 LINCOLN STREET, MINERVA, OH 44657.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):     On or about January 17, 2013, during construction activities including but not limited to roofing work, the employer did not ensure all employees on the roof were using a fall protection system/device while exposed to fall hazards ranging from 11.2 feet to 20.2 feet around the perimeter of the house.    JOE WEIDMAN ROOFING WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 29 CFR 1926.501 (B)(13), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 490978, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 002, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON AUGUST 9. 2012, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 13685 LINCOLN STREET, MINERVA, OH 44657.
