OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to being struck-by hazards during oil/gas drilling operations:       a.  "On or about 12/9/12, Rig 18 at Rother 16-4-11-1HW, Tres Management failed to ensure that ton-mile records were adequately maintained by the drilling contractor to eliminate or minimize failure of drilling line wire rope which exposes an employee to struck by hazards during oil/gas drilling operations."
