29 CFR 1926.701(b): Reinforcing steel. All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and into which employees could fall, shall be guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement. (a) Eastside of Jobsite - On or about February 27, 2013 employees were exposed to an impalement hazard while finishing concrete around exposed rebar that ranged in height from 2 to 4 feet above the concrete being finished. The rebar was not guarded.
