29 CFR 1926.451(g)(4)(i):     Guardrail systems shall be installed along all open sides and ends of platforms. Guardrail systems shall be installed before the scaffold is released for use by employees other than erection/dismantling crews.    a.  At the site, employees were performing masonry work from a tubular welded frame scaffold that did not have guardrails installed on the ends of the scaffold, thereby exposing the employees to a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet.

29 CFR 1926.452(c)(2):     Frames and panels shall be braced by cross, horizontal, or diagonal braces, or combination thereof, which secure vertical members together laterally. The cross braces shall be of such length as will automatically square and align vertical members so that the erected scaffold is always plumb, level, and square. All brace connections shall be secured.    a.  At the site, employees were performing masonry work from an approximately 18 feet tall tubular welded frame scaffold that had brace connections not secured exposing them to a fall hazard.
