29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):   Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest system:  a)  214 Brick Blvd., Brick, NJ:  Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 13.2' from the eave to the ground level.  The employees were preforming roofing repair and replacement, observed on or about 3/14/13.  NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
