29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m)  or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502:     a)  On or about March 12, 2013 and times prior, fall protection was not used while sheathing the roof: The employer failed to ensure employees installing roof sheathing on a 8:12 pitch residential roof at 9255 Concord Park Dr., Montgomery, Al, used fall protection which exposed them to the hazards associated with falls of up to 10 feet at the front of the house.     b)  On or about March 12, 2013 and times prior, fall protection was not used while sheathing the roof: The employer failed to ensure employees installing roof sheathing on a 8:12 pitch residential roof at 9255 Concord Park Dr., Montgomery, Al, used fall protection which exposed them to the hazards associated with falls of up to 19 feet, 2 inches at the back of the house.    c)  On or about March 12, 2013 and times prior, guardrails were not installed on the inside stairs: The employer failed to ensure guardrails were installed on the inside stair case which exposed employees using the stairs to the hazards associated with falls of up to 9 feet, 7 inches to the concrete floor below.
