29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE):     (a) Throughout the production areas, there had not been a noise hazard assessment. Noise levels to which employees were exposed were not collected to determine who must be in a hearing conservation program, who must wear hearing protection and what hearing protection is adequate.      Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose.

29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(5)(i): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the identity of the hazardous chemical(s) contained therein:     (a) Secondary containers such as but not limited to a spay bottle, that was hanging from the light bar support of the 10 foot Cincinnati Press Brake located in the Fabrication Shop, did not have labels or tags and were not marked with the identity of the chemical within. The spray bottle at the 10 foot Cincinnati Press Brake is believed to have been Kool Rite 2290, metal working fluid, an eye skin and inhalation irritant with slight toxicity.     This violation was abated during inspection. Abatement certification for this violation is not required.
