29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. Exception: When the employer can demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems, the employer shall develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of 1926.502:    a)  On or about Apri 26, 2013 at a jobsite located at 10407-15 Eagle Ridge, Orland Park, IL. - employees performing roofing activities on a roof with a 6:12 pitch were not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employees to falls of approximately sixteen (16) feet five (5) inches.    The Landmark A New World Corp. was previously cited for a violation for this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent Standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number  760142, Citation Number 2 Item Number 1 and was affirmed as final order on January 1, 2013 with respects to the workplace located at 811 Oak Park, Oak Park,  IL 60302.    The Landmark A New World Corp. was previously cited for a violation for this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent Standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number, 399502  Citation Number 1 Item Number 3 and was affirmed as final order on August 8, 2012 with respects to the workplace located at 3123 S. Calumet Avenue, Chicago, IL 60616.
