29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:  a) Exterior of Unit - A laborer was observed standing below an employee on a ladderjack installing vinyl siding was not wearing head protection and exposed to a struck by hazard, on or about 07/29/13.    For the purposes of this inspection, this employer was determined to be the controlling and correcting employer of the jobsite. The employer is being cited under OSHA's Multi-Employer Workplace Policy.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(i): Each employee on a boatswains' chair, catenary scaffold, float scaffold, needle beam scaffold, or ladder jack scaffold was not protected by a personal fall arrest system:  a) Exterior of Unit - An employee was observed standing on a ladder jack scaffold work platform while installing vinyl siding and was exposed to a 12 foot, 11 inch fall hazard, on or about 07/29/13.   For the purposes of this inspection, this employer was determined to be the controlling and correcting employer of the jobsite. The employer is being cited under OSHA's Multi-Employer Workplace Policy.   Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
