29 CFR 1910.268(b)(7): Approach distances to exposed energized overhead power lines and parts. The employer shall ensure that no employee approaches or takes any conductive object closer to any electrically energized overhead power lines and parts than prescribed in Table R-2, unless:  The employee is insulated or guarded from the energized parts (insulating gloves rated for the voltage involved shall be considered adequate insulation).  (a) Jobsite - On or about August 23, 2013, an employee was not wearing insulated electrical gloves while handling a conductor that had the possibility of making contact with high voltage overhead power lines.

29 CFR 1910.268(j)(4)(i): Derrick trucks and similar equipment shall not be operated with any conductive part of the equipment closer to exposed energized power lines than the clearances set forth in Table R-2 of this section.  (a) Jobsite - On or about August 23, 2013, employees were operating a digger derrick truck boom in close proximity of energized overhead power lines.  The employees did not comply with the established approach distances to exposed energized overhead power lines.
