Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish to each of their employees employment and a place of employment which are free from the recognized hazards which are causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck-by and/or caught-in-between hazards from automotive lifts:     This violation was discovered on November 1, 2013; where an automotive lift was operated without the rubber swing arm padding required to stabilize the vehicle while on the automotive lift.
